Interesting article.

Technology and the internet have certainly changed world, in many ways for the better.

But there also seems to be a growing problem of internet addiction for some people who cannot or do not know when to stop.

Can we say, "in denial"???

“Somebody is going online because he has social anxiety, and has a lot of difficulties interacting with people face to face, and spends hours online,” Aboujaoude said. “The same is for the person who is depressed and finds it too overwhelming to leave the house, so all he does is to stay indoors and play internet games.” :o :o :o

They didn't say anything about sending Christmas cards to your online friends ahead of your family members!

I have tried to cut my BN time down from 3 hours to 1/2. But with the Feud going on, and it's so much fun, I do good if I'm only on 1 and a half hour!

All they had to do was survey all the Feuders for the correct figures.

Well, considering that all of my classes are online, does that count as being addicted?

Yes, Ringling, there are internet Parrotheads....The most real things in the world are those that neither children nor men can see. Did you ever see Parrotheads dancing on the lawn? Of course not, but that's no proof that they are not there. (actually, you see that at every concert ) Nobody can conceive or imagine all the wonders there are unseen and unseeable in the world.

No internet Parrotheads! Thank God! they live, and they live forever. A thousand years from now, Ringling, nay, ten times ten thousand years from now, they will continue to make glad the heart of childhood.
