Former Phish leader nabbed in New York for DWI and drug possession
DECEMBER 15--Former Phish front man Trey Anastasio was arrested early this morning on a driving while intoxicated rap and New York cops found the musician in possession of a variety of medications prescribed to another person. Anastasio, who is pictured in the below mug shot snapped by the Whitehall Police Department, was nabbed at around 3:30 AM following a traffic stop by Patrolman Andrew Mija. He failed field sobriety tests and was found to be carrying *****, Percocet, and Hydrocodone. Anastasio, whose first name is Ernest, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, DWI-drugs, and driving without a license. (1 page)
Hmmm...the mugshot appears to have wierd info. Trey's middle initial is G, and he was born in September 1964

That was a joke, hence the "winking" eye and putting the word arrest in quotes.
Still curious as to why X_anax is censored out though...
Hope he straightens out soon. Phish was one of the greatest rock bands of all time. Its not too late to get back together and keep things goin. But Trey's gotta get his sh!t together.
I was never too big into Phish when they were touring around.....I've seen them about 8 times....But I have recently seen Trey play alot with members of the Grateful Dead....Trey played lead at the Jerry Garcia memorial show at the Greek back last September.....He filled the spot for the night along with Jimmy Herring and Warren Haynes.....ALso Trey recently toured with Phil Lesh and sat in with Mike Gordon at times..I would love to see Trey get PHISH back together....but he might need another visit to rehab first.....Trey can't end up like Jerry!
