I drove myself to the ER and didn't know how I was going to get from the car to the door ~ managed to hobble with an umbrella!

I was born with a hearing loss ... and I cheated the medical to get in to the army .. and the hearing got worse

yup .. I have broken my ankle twice - did the ligaments the first time along with the break - and it was exruciating ...
second time was just the bone - and nowhere near as painful ....

I've never actually heard any of my bones break when I broke them, but when I tore ligaments I thought I broke my ankle. I was sure the only thing in the human body that could make a sound like that was a bone breaking. It was a bit unsettling.
