. .specifically . .my house slippers. . .! !

. .I do LOVE my slippers . .they are ugly as all get out . . but they feel like warm, fuzzy clouds on my feet . .

. . there's something very . .ummm . . Motherly about a perfect pair of slippers . .

. .mine have this horrific 1930's ski sweater pattern on top, and with lamb's wool inside . .

. .mmmmm . . .makes me feel all warm and fuzzy just thinking about them . .

. .sooo . . what do your favorite toe warmers look like . . ? ?

My feet get sweaty in slippers so I don't really wear them, but I can't stand walking around in hard floors in bare feet 'cause it hurts my back.

So, I usually wear these around the house:

I don't wear slippers---I either wear socks if my feet are cold or just let me toes breathe

Or my Margaritaville flipflops

.yeah, actually me too . . . my slippys are for going outside, mostly . .

. . anyone remember those foot thingys that had like a sock part on top . .and a cheap plastic sole . .? ?

Yup---used to get them about every year for Christmas
something similar to these

but usually really ugly knitted tops

In the winter I wear these. Soft and breathes..

In spring or fall it's these.

I'm not a slipper person either for the same reason.....sweaty feet is not something I like having.

I do LOVE these socks though......it's funny that I found this thread, I just had my mom buy me some for Christmas! They are the softest and warmest socks EVER!!!!

I wear them all the time in the house......I'm also the type if my feet are warm and I have to go somewhere, I'll just keep the socks on and wear my flip flops!

my husband bought me those memory foam slippers from Sharper Image last year...thought he was nuts paying $80.00 for a pair of slippers...but they are the best and I can wear them outside...I've been known to go to the store with them on thinking I had my shoes on!

they look Standard Issue to me. I think I saw a pair down at the local Army Outlet. Don't laugh. Would you mess with anybody that was walking around openly with those on their feet?...didn't think so.
