I am taping the show, so is it cool once I am done to upload the show to the FTP site?

Please do load the show to the ftp . If I can get back from Aspen with all the snow, I'd love to download a copy!! I prefer the site to the vine. I've no patience for the grapes to grow.

Thanks a lot. i also prefer the FTP site to vines. Will wma transfer onto iTunes?gingerbreadman wrote:Uploading some 192 Kbps wma's from Sirius source now.
I thought the wma's would be better than mp3's for those burning discs, since there won't be that little silence gap in between each song.
Should be done in about 45 minutes!
Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar

I think so. I added a wma file to iTunes and it said it would automatically convert to aac format. The file ended up having a m4a extension. Sounds fine to me.jonesbeach10 wrote:Thanks a lot. i also prefer the FTP site to vines. Will wma transfer onto iTunes?gingerbreadman wrote:Uploading some 192 Kbps wma's from Sirius source now.

That will save a lot of time in the editing room.

I put the files in the upload area.
Does that mean that the files are ready to be downloaded? If so, where is the "upload" area?

The login name changes I think to jimmy_upload and the password is still buffett.
You will see the Aspen show there.

you have to change the user name when you log in. If it opens with jimmy, just add to have this instead: jimmy_upload The password is the same.jonesbeach10 wrote:umm, where is the upload section on the ftp site?nlcentralchmps03 wrote:Thanks Gingerbreadman, you just made my night!gingerbreadman wrote:Take a look at this:nlcentralchmps03 wrote:I don't know too much about this FTP thing.![]()

I'll ask anyone else that has tried to download this, is it going REALLY slow for you? Songs are taking 20-30 minutes to download, and I've needed to login after each song in order to download the next one.
