Bring that young man over here
We gonna buy that boy a beer
And that ain't all we want to do
And bring your crazy uncle too

I hate to burst everyone's great idea about partying on St. Patrick's Day will produce a Christmas baby...but it ain't so. Pregnancy is calculated as 40 weeks from the LMP (last menstrual period). An LMP of 3/20 with a conception date of 2 weeks later (4/3), will result in a due date of 12/25. A conception date of 3/17 (LMP - 3/3) will have a due date of 12/8. That would make the baby born on 12/25 2 1/2 weeks late...still a possibility but not a probability.
So when women feel they are pregnant forever...they are not complaining without reason...it's really 9 1/2 months!
How do I know these random facts?...I was a OB nurse for 26 years AND my first child was born on 12/8!!! And no she wasn't conceived on St. Patty's. I had her a week early.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"
