I'll agree that Dave Matthews is less than mediocre, but don't be dissin my Cubbies!!Indiana Jolly Mon wrote:Well it would be a perfect fit. The place full of people overpaying to watch a less than mediocre product, just like on game days
yep, but the agreement allows one weekend of concerts every other year, so unless they change that, they can't throw too much else in.RinglingRingling wrote:well, they have been dumping a ton on ways to fill the stadium lately...myke212 wrote:This could be the next Wrigley concert

duuuude.. calling the Cubs less than mediocre is really a compliment... he could have said "overpaying to watch a really crappy act take the field.."myke212 wrote:I'll agree that Dave Matthews is less than mediocre, but don't be dissin my Cubbies!!Indiana Jolly Mon wrote:Well it would be a perfect fit. so Dave is really the opening act?ragtopW wrote:Don't they really need a Good Starter and a number four hitter??
Wouldnt it be more appropriate to make them stay away, havent they done enought bad things without making people listen to bad music too??? Actually it dumped onto a tour boat first. A few people even got some in their mouthsLIPH wrote:Maybe this is his way of making up for his tour bus dumping that load of $hit into the Chicago River a year or so ago.
I was wondering what position he might play. I know Jimmy has some baseball experience, didn't know Dave did too....of course it's not something I'd know....or look into...are my feelings showing?ragtopW wrote:Don't they really need a Good Starter and a number four hitter??
I like DMB when I'm studying or wanting some chill music in the background, but I wouldn't listen to it while working out or driving down the road, nor would I pay more than $20 for a ticket to a show, nor would I drive more than an hour to get to a show. That being said, I think I'm the only person I know that doesn't smoke pot or do acid that can tolerate DMB. He seems to be the stereotypical druggy performer, kinda like Phish and Widespread Panic have that bond with potheads (in many cases, at least).Big Jimmy wrote:Only good thing about that it allows one more concert (hopefully a good country show) to replace that thing that they call "music".
Honstely I still do not know how DMB is still around. Saw him perform at Farm Aid 97 and still want my hour back of time that I wasted having to hear him "perform"
