Already saw Rocky and Charlotte's Web, I have heard great things about "Blood Diamond", but it may have to wait until next week.

no movie palaces where I live. have to do pay per view or a DVD.

They still show movies in movie theaters??
I think the last move i saw in the theater was the 1st Harry Potter...
We rented a couple of dvd's last weekend and the clerk laughed at us and said 'oh boy, it's been a while since you've rented anything'.

Going out in the morning to catch a matinee showing of Deck The Halls. Have to see it after seeing the trailer with Danny DeVito saying the line, "I want my house to be seen.......from space!!!". Thats why I light up my home.

I haven't watched the movie....but I have heard from people and read reviews saying it was not worth the gas money to drive to the theater.....they said the funniest parts was in the trailer.AdamBomb8 wrote:Going out in the morning to catch a matinee showing of Deck The Halls. After you see it, post how you thought it was......I actually wanted to see it until I heard so many bad things about it.

Saw it earlier today, reaching the end of its run, only 5 people in the theater. Not a great movie, but I didn't think it was that bad, thought it was pretty funny at times. Dear wife and I saw "Night at the Museum." It's ok... a little like cotton candy - kind of enjoyable, but not too filling.
Unless you can catch a matinee, wait for DVD. Ain't worth $8/person.
