Well you see how big an influence I am on that sort of thing :D
Maybe Mac just doesn't like you. 8)
Or he was too busy looking at your pretty wife to hear you. :D
probably both, after harassing him about signing an ass and giving him grief that he never signed my wife's ass. Me mentioning Nashville was blown off. He did sign my CD "in lieu of ass, Mac"

i heard some time ago that they were going to stop having concerts at the pyramid. is this true? maybe it was some artist that wasn't going to the pyramid anymore. one or the other. it's a nice place. if jimmy came to memphis where would he do a concert. if he did i would hope it would be close to the barbecue festival!! :D i'm hungry just thinking about the bbq.

Yeah Bob Seiger is the last concert there. The city is trying to sell it, I think Bass Pro was interested at one point.

Jimmy could play the Fed Ex Forum if it is winter. Mud Island is too small for him now, he played there back in the 90's I think. A concert at Shelby Farms would be cool.

I can't think of a really good venue in Nashville for a Buffett-sized crowd. I am a huge Titans fan, though, so I'd LOVE to see him play LP Field sometime. It'll hold just under 70,000--I think he could fill it for a one-night-only performance!
It was AmSouth (Starwood) Amphitheater. We tailgated at the Best WEstern closest to the venue, but there were mini-tailgates all over the area around the amphitheater. It wasn't until I got to go to the Cincinnati concerts that I truly experienced the REAL tailgate event.

And it would be great to have it at the Coliseum, but only on the field itself...can you imagine thousands of tipsy Parrotheads up in those STEEP STEEP seats? I can. "Uh oh, there goes another one !" :o
OK........I didn't meet you at the Best Western OR at AmSouth.......but I was at both places. Next time....we MUST find time to at least say HELLO!
COME TO NASHVILLE JIMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
