Its been a while since i had an ipod, but i think if you bring up itunes, then highlight all the stuff you want to delete, then right click, then delete, it will delete all the highlighted stuff...good luck...or you can go to ipod's website and I;m sure its on there!

the IPOD website is down right now...I'll just take it down the street to the Apple store tomorrow....Our friends run it and they'll help me.....but I may end up trading it in for the 8GB instead and pay the difference since all of Buffett's songs will take up half of it....

just saying that I have all Jimmy's albums ripped to mp3 with a fairly good-sounding sampling-rate. I can get all my songs on 1 2 gigabyte SD card for my iPaq. a 6 gig iPod should have no problem fitting all of them on it.

what i do to delete songs and stuff from mine is to plug it into iTunes and then delete that way. I'm not sure if there's a way to do it without iTunes up. I think there is, but i think it's far easier to do it with the iTunes software!

I treat the iPod just like my hard drive. Click and drag where I want something ... if I don't want something, I just trash it. I have everything on my computer, so I just hook up to it and do all my housekeeping from the computer.

One thing I do recommend is to switch the iPod to MANUAL updates, so everything doesn't get wiped off every time you hook up to the computer. Uploading 4 days' worth of music takes a long, long time!

I think you can check or uncheck the boxes of the songs that you want to upload or not? SGH is another pro you can ask.....
