My new toy(s)

Post by land_shark3 »

Well, right before I went home for Christmas my first new toy arrived...

So the day after Christmas, I HAD to go get something to compliment it...

Needless to say, the only logical thing today was to sign up for HD service.

Right now I'm watching the Emerald Bowl game in high def. I love technology! Now I just need to convince AMEX that they still owe me a Christmas gift. :pirate:

wait til you watch a hockey game in HD--- You will never appreciate Hockey the way you did before til you see it Crystal Clear.

Few years ago they had a Canadians/Maple Leafs game on in HD---The game was outside on a football field in a snow storm. Truly the best thing I have ever seen in HD.

HD is like satellite radio once you get it you never go back to analog.

Good news is that my wife is already sold on the HD. She was pretty skeptical when I told her I wanted an HD LCD, but after watching a Blue Ray movie today, she is ready for a smaller one in the bedroom. 8)

Cable HD is horrible at least where I live at it is. For some reason direct TV or Dish network HD has a much better picture.

My wife is sold on it as well. ER, CSI, The police show on TNT cannot remember the name all in HD, I rarely get a chance to watch it anymore :)

The exterior wall on my apartment faces northeast... no satellite for me.

Uh oh... I didn't think about CSI in HD. I better look into that second set sooner than expected. :o

I am too lazy to look but there is a HD channel guide on the net that lists every network cable and over the air HD programming.

Only reason why we dont have a dish is our apt complex wont allow them, if we could we would have direct TV

I switched to Dish Network a few months ago for a whole week before cancelling it.
Their Hi Def package could not compete with Comcasts imo.
You have to hook up a seperate antenna just to get the locals in Hi Def with satellite meanwhile you get them through your box with comcast.
Maybe it's different depending on your area.

You're right though.
Nothing is better than Hi Def!!!!
