They have llama treks you can go on, where you hike up the mountin and each couple has a llama that they lead that carries picnic stuff (in a pack on its back). You get to this deck they've built on the mountain and the guide makes you a nice picnic. It was a really neat place and the llamas were fun to see. :D
and aren't they tasty???

My wife grew up on a llama ranch and one thing that I always know will torment her is to say that I would really like to have a llama or 2. Of course she knows I am lying, but she wants one even less than I do. They have the personality of cats...............Enough said.

Here are some pics of me feeding carrots to llamas at an Ecuador hacienda a few years back.

Supposedly, when they get angry or feel threatened they spit :o ...I'm glad they liked the carrots!

I've only heard a newborn hum---it was precious. :D
I think that is the way they communicate with their Mothers?

This is an article on the group that we went llama trekking with. Their 3 day camping trip with the llamas was really a lot of fun.... Oh and the picture of the llama on the mountain is of the Llama that was assigned to me.

I was driving my daughter to dance class the other night and we passed a van full of llamas. That's right. A van. Full of llamas.

I've been beside myself ever since.
