It looks like the only thing left is CP1 (parking garage). That's odd..I can't believe that all the parking is sold out. You should maybe try calling ticketmaster.MobileTikiBar wrote:Does anyone have an extra lot 3 (green) parking pass? no way the've sold out the lot... they must have just sold a limited number of passes. I assume they will be letting folks pay cash to get into the lot on the day of the show.Feesh wrote:It looks like the only thing left is CP1 (parking garage). That's what I'm wondering too. I'm not sure what the benefit was for buying early since we'll all be there super early anyway. Maybe closer parking in lot 3?z-man wrote:no way the've sold out the lot... they must have just sold a limited number of passes. The Arena lots are not very big. We've always managed to get a couple spots as late as 4PM and I never seen them sell tickets thru TM, but here we go another curveball (or should I say alley-oop)
I bought one Lot 1, you know, just in case. Figured what the hell and didn't take time to read the choices, they were all 8 bucks and who would risk 8 tickets expiring looking at a parking lot location map?
Yesterday our groups other ticket buyer tells me he bought Lot 3. Hmmm, a good spot, for that's where the Central FL PH Club sets up there gig.
So I called the Arena box office today and can confirm that all surface lots are sold out and as stated above the CP1 parking garage is only available.
And when asked if there would be any pay at the gate spots I was told only for RV's; they set aside a portion of Lot 1 for them.
Well for those not familiar with the Orlando Arena there is a cool little (Dot) lake in front of the parking lots on the north side and a big lawn between the lake and the building which are great tailgate spots. Parking is plentiful throughout the local neighborhood to the west; people charge to park right on their lawns. Law presence is like any show but there seems to be a no interference for walking on the local streets with all of our necessities.....
Also, the lots are right along the perimeter streets so it is not a problem to pull up close to where your party is and unload your stuff right onto the pavement.
Hope this helps and good luck with trying to coordinate your group. Maybe a parking lot ticket forum can be added to the Exchange.
