And indeed the deal is done.....the Tigers now boast a potential All-Star at nearly every position. Infield of Carlos Guillen at 1st, Placido Polanco at 2nd, Ed Renteria at Short, Cabrera at 3rd. Pudge Rodrieguez behind the plate, with an Outfield of Mags Ordonez, Curtis Granderson and and a decent platoon system in left. Sheffield manning the DH spot. The key (as always) will be the pitching staff! Verlander, The Gambler Kenny Rogers, D-Willis as a #3, Bonderman and Nate Robertson. I am concerned about the pen but if we can get a softball game kinda lead we should be alright!

Thank god for owner Mike Illitch. If only he'd purchase the Lions!!! :o

The "Mitchell Report" is in the hands of MLB executives, and will be released to the public tomorrow, 2pm EST.....Selig will speak at 4:30 pm.

Word is that 60-80 current and former players are named. NO word on who, NO word on Barry. We'll see tomorrow!!!
