Lay's Potato Chips

Post by SMLCHNG »

The world as I know it has come to an end. :( :( ;)

Lay's chips are my most favorite salty/chip snack. Has been for years. Especially a brand new opened bag.

I picked some up the other day. Never noticed the change on the bag.

They're now made with Sunflower Oil. And they just don't taste the same Not as thin and light, and actually tastes different and greasier. :( Yes, they're better for me, but if I wanted healthy, I wouldn't be eating a potato chip. ;)

Has anyone else noticed the change?

Ever notice how only in Canadia you can get Lay's Ketchup flavored. Damn Canucks showing commericals during hockey games for products we can not get.

Ever notice that a fresh opened bag of Lays plain sort of smells like someone cut the cheese?

I absolutely love the Lays Light (Formerly WOW).
No fat, taste the same and is great for my "lifestlye change"

I like ketchup with them too!!!

I think I've been on this "lifestyle change" so long that I've convinced myself that they taste the same.

  Thanks, Dez... That's what I was looking for.. what other folks think they're like. Maybe it's the crispier part that I don't care for.. they seem thicker, and I like how they were a little thinner. :)

I'm with Penny...they definitely taste different and are greasier. They have a funky taste to me. And now we get 20% more of something we like less. :-?
