What are you kidding about, at Halloween our company has all the employees in the building bring their kids. We have about 500 employees in the building and we average about 2500 pieces of candy being handed out. Mind you, not all employees have kids or bring them and we only give one piece per kid in our department. Yes, we have about 90% Mormons in our building.

The devil is in the details when it comes to these plans. I think one has to watch out for insurance policies that allow the insurance company to decide how much of what you have spent out of pocket applies to the deductible. Much to my dismay, I discovered that the current policy my employer offers allows the HMO (UHC) to determine the amount after the fact. It also allows the HMO to retroactively rescind approvals issued for procedures already done. Between those two things I got burned for close to $8000.00 last year. Needless to say, I'm not a real fan of the current insurance plan at work. So before you go with something like this, make sure you check all of the fine print.
