pbans,

I love the Livingston Bar and Grille sign. Unfortunately, it's no longer open. It was a great place to eat. It's currently 18 below zero in Livingston. I plan to make the journey this morning. But it's warming up, it was 20 below last night and with the infamous Livingston wind (if you've been there, you know what I'm talking about), the wind chill I'm sure is probably 50 below zero.

Anyways, when it's cold like this, my favorite song that warms me up is Migration.

YIKES....that's cold...I'll stop whining about our measly -1!!
We went through Livingston on the way home from the Sturgis Bike Rally last year....I made everyone stop so I could take pictures.....they think I'm a freak....I think they're probably right!!
Put a coat on....hell, put on TWO!

When I left Chicago after living there for 3 years (I'm from Michigan) it was quite simple - Boat Drinks was part of the inspiration - I gotta go where it's warm was the deciding factor. I wound up in New Orleans, where it's not always warm (winter time can be nasty) but it usually is.

So after years of remembering the shows at Pine Knob etc...in the Detroit area to help make it through the winters, I'd had enough, smartened up and moved South.

Of course, I hardly ever get to see JB anymore but at least I'm much more comfortable now and have been for quite some time.
