:o  That's funny...we have English Ivy hanging from one of our trees in the back yard...the boys sometimes try to swing from that.

I wouldn't put it past them to toss whatever they find in the yard at each other.

Seriously, get some face black, some eye patches, some bandanas and a Pirate Captains hat for the birthday boy, along with a toy parrot (not much of a stretch there for us PHs). Add in a few toy weapons if you want. Have a Jolly Roger cake, a treasure huint and spend a lot of time perfecting their ARRRRRRR's. Tell some RRRRR jokes and well you get the picture. I did that about 10 years ago for my now 18 year old son, and they had a blast
Now that sounds like a cool idea, Corey.....especially the treasure hunt!

I might have to throw that kind of party for my 23rd birthday! :wench: :wench:

I'm liking this idea...it's going to be cold here and a bunch of you guys are going to the JJW/AATW phlocking in Austin...

...having a beer thinking about you guys having all that phun would help take the edge off while I'm corraling hyperactive kiddos. Image

Yea, yea...I have no doubt he's growing up to be a guy who appreciates the "finer things in life".

You can get a fire station to give you a tour. The firemen are more laid back with fewer kids, and they'll probably get to climb inside the firetrucks too.
