10 Year Anniversary

How quickly we all forget as time flies by, I was reminded of this earlier. Today is the 10 year anniversary of Jimmy's incident of being target practice for some crazy Jamacians while he was piloting his own plane to Jamaica for some chicken. Luckily for us the Jamacians were bad shots and Jimmy and passengers ended up landing safe and unharmed.

Was just reading that Bono and Chris Blackwell were also on board (I knew that), but none of them were onboard when the shooting occurred (is that true?). I don't usually trust Wikipedia as a source...

If they weren't onboard, I guess Jimmy used a little artistic license in the song.

Duh

! My fault, I really thought I was ok at math. Guess I better check my figures before passing them along. I suppose that extra year just seemed to disappear. Will try to be more proficient in the future and conform info from outer sources. Maybe I can write for our local newspaper, they never seem to get anything right or even care.
