Wonder if Jimmy would ever consider doing an "All Request Show"? He could let us all vote on which songs to play and then play the top vote getters.
I don't exactly remember the tour but in the early 80"s Jimmy used to have a barrell with ping pong balls with song names printed on them and he would just pull 2 or 3 per show and play them. Anyone else remember this?

I LOVE this song. It's one of the ones that made my (now) hubby stop and listen and "get it" about JB's music. Like most people, he'd only heard the yellow album stuff pre-me.

Would love to hear it live (again)!

Tin Cup defines my attraction to the coast - I wanna be there!
and when I'm not there, I wanna go back!

Definitely one of the classic Buffett songs that are so dear to all of us.

Ultimate 2 encore set - Cowboy in the Jungle (1st) and then finish out with just Jimmy playing Tin Cup Chalice... :pirate:
could it get any better than that? 8)

July 3, 2004 - final encore at Nissan Pavillion.

Just Jimmy, sitting on the edge of the stage, with his guitar and glass of wine.

My favorite concert moment of all time. I still get chills listening to the recording.

I honestly just got head to toe chills reading that... thanks! :D

Tin Cup Chalice is definitely a favorite of mine, that's always a great addition to the setlist.

Not that I didn't like Werewolves of London, personally, I would just rather hear music that Jimmy wrote from the earlier days than covers.

And, yes, Cowboys with TCC would be a great double encore!

Yeah, I agree. I like Werewolves well enough, but would much rather hear a Jimmy song than a cover of Werewolves....

I have no use for Werewolves, doesn't fit, doesn't belong. Same for anything by the Dead.

As for TCC, one of my top 10 favorites.

At Nissan Pavilion (i think) a couple years back he did Tin Cup Chalice as an acoustic solo encore. Was one of my favorite moments out of 21 Buffett shows. Was friggin awesome.

I'd like to hear him start doing Migration...It's one of the biggest hits to most parrotheads and he rarely plays it...

I remember the bottle coming down with the song he was gonna play next. I think it was usually CITJungle. That was...The Outpost Tour I think. The barrel - don't remember that one. May have been dropped along the tour because he never selected a song from a numbered ball or whatever at any of the Pine Knob shows I went to in the 1980s.
