When the thread....name a song that describes you was out ......this was my choice.
I like it very much.
Pittsburgh and Chicago would be a great place to play it.

Tin Cup would be great. As long as we are going that far back though how about I Have Found Me A Home? :)

Actaully I would love to see a show with nothing but the oldies.

Tin Cup is obviously a favorite of a lot of people...I wonder how it would have done in the Buffett Madness tournament?

Seriously! Was it 2006 that Jimmy played Caroline Street. I was so happy when that guitar riff hit at Great Woods . . . . and I Have Found Me a Home would be about as great as any song . . . especially if it was a really slow acoustic solo.

Tin Cup
I Have Found Me A Home
Caroline Street
Head Hurts . . . Feet Stink
Hurrican Season
Captain and the Kid
Havana Daydreamin

Just to name a few . . . these are the types of songs I want.

TCC is my ex's favorite song. If he were to play it, and she were to be at the show with me (not a far fetched thought) i don't know if she would still be my ex by the end of the song....

as for an all request show, there is a very easy way to determine whose votes would count more. Simply have a contest, everyone competing against themselves and not each other. The farther you get (number of shows seen, number of albums--oops, cd's--you own, amount of trivia you know about him) the more your vote counts. Wish they had something like that while waiting in concrt ticket line. Standing in front to Tower Records a few years back getting tickets to Jones Beach, I was third in line. the two guys in front of me were OBVIOUSLY :o :o :o :o not Parrotheads (scalping sons of b@tches!  ) I tried offering such a contest, but they just laughed at me. :( :( At least i still got tickets. :D :D :D

amazing what the power of a song can do, huh? I am a firm believer in magic happening at Buffett shows . . . remember that pesky Curse that Red Sox fans dealt with for so many years . . .? I really hope Jimmy knows what it would mean to so many people if he played that song again this year - especially, for me anyways, in Massachusetts come Labor Day.
