I think the making fun of drummers thing goes back much further than that (it was parodied in Spinal Tap for a reason), I just didn't realize you were attempting to be humorous.

Read when you can. That's how it works. I enjoyed reading DSTC way after it came out - years after. There is no time limit on when you read a book. Reading something like ASPOL when it comes out vs. three years or whatever later does not make you a better or worse parrothead or Buffett fan or whatver no matter when you read it. It means nothing except what it means to you when it means it.

Eh, the print won't change - either on BN or in books. With missing anything on BN you miss nothing but sarcasm, smartassness and knowitalls like we all are (from what I can tell).

I have read APLAF, it was a great book. I've enjoyed TOTALLY the 1st half of ASPOL, I wish I had more time to finish it quicker...but, that day will come when I win the lottery, just after become Jimmy's opening act.. :o
