Oh come on! If you're out of school, and still working fast food, you're a loo-hoo-serr. There's no money in it, the hours s*** and you stink when you get home. I love this line: The commercial "would give the impression that working in a restaurant is demeaning and unpleasant," Anderson wrote.- Helloo, if you've worked in one you know it is!
My ship she has a rudder, but I don’t know where to steer

But to call some one who works in one a "loo-hoo-serr" is not called forCoconuts wrote:Oh come on! If you're out of school, and still working fast food, you're a loo-hoo-serr. Yep. Agreed. Sometimes you have to do what you have to do to get by.SMLCHNG wrote:Agreed here... some folks work in those places cause they HAVE to - no other jobs available and have to make ends meet.Sidew13 wrote:But to call some one who works in one a "loo-hoo-serr" is not called for

Home was 10 foot wide and 60 feet long on 3 acres with my dog Sammy. We rented. It leaked, it was cold in the winter and almost impossible to sleep when it was raining. But it was home and I did not know until I moved to "the city" I was white trashSchoolGirlHeart wrote:Yep. Agreed. sometimes it's the only work that will fit their schedule, i.e. Dad watches the kids so no day care...SMLCHNG wrote:Agreed here... some folks work in those places cause they HAVE to - no other jobs available and have to make ends meet.Sidew13 wrote: But to call some one who works in one a "loo-hoo-serr" is not called for
esp. if you know what day care costs...
definately no issue for me, but I respect those that do have to balance a schedule to get more out of their paycheck...

But I agree with your point about doing whatever you gotta do to get by.
I worked as a Domino's driver for over a year while going to college.
At that time, the hours were good & flexible
and the pay was what you would expect to make when you're that age.
It sure wasn't perfect, and it's a part of what MOTIVATED me to achieve more!
$#@&...only Vegas again?? Padres ...gotta start believin'!Bring on '14 Spring Training!

Any work that is honest work, should not be demeaned! If the person sat home a collected welfare, would that be better.Coconuts wrote:Oh come on! That is one of the harshest, most judgemental statements I've ever read on here....assuming you said it with a straight face.Coconuts wrote:Oh come on! Who are you to decide if someone is a loser because of the job they have??? Working anywhere is better than sitting on their butts and collecting welfare...at least these people are out there doing something. You have no idea what these people's life circustances are...how dare you make a nasty, blanket statement like that??
