Grew up on Chippewa Hwy.
Went to high school where the nickname was Chippewas (only one in the state)
Went to college where the nickname was Chippewas (only one in the country)
Met a cutie there, lived 200 miles away. Went to visit her at home where she lived on...Chippewa Trail.
Of course I married her.

Mine is a combo of my last name, which was morphed into a nickname in high school, and the fact that I'm a "car guy," who used to regularly cruise the boulevard.

1978, aboard 107' schooner ANTARES in St Thomas, with Jimmy aboard and skipper Dave Rossi, I was just a navy pilot having a good time, But we did win the "Most Immoral and Degenerate" award that weekend in the Pina Colada Regatta. Details are sordid and not fit for a family board.

When I decided to join, all the names I wanted were taken, so I just lost all caring and being from Long Island, based it on my favorite concert venue, and my favorite number: 10.
Although I've been thinking for awhile about changing it, considering there aren't any GreatWoods10's or Alpine10's out there.
Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar

I thought I was taking a Buffett song for a screename - until one night someone on bn asked me why did I choose my sn.. I said... "The Buffett song of course" I really did think it was mermaid in disguise until Les posted the lyrics minutes later
But I kept it and it seems to fit - and I love Mermaids.....
