I was wondering if anyone was going to bring any EZ tents to put up for some shade. We can lug ours from Lakeland if need be. It takes about 5 minutes to set up if we have a few volunteers to help put it up. It's not that easy with just my wife and I. The breakdown goes pretty smoothly too if we have some help (even in the state of inebriation). Let me know. I didn't want to lug it if we didn't have to.

We'll have a small canopy with us (only 9' x 9'), and two mobile tiki bars. I'd be more than happy to help setup if you did end up bringing it. I bet others are bringing canopies though.

we will have three or four large pop-up tents (see picture on page 1 for a couple of them) if you can bring some camp chairs, those would be useful.

Pre concert

Post by KT Lockett »

I am staying at the Courtyard Marriott @ 730 North Magnolia Ave. Any idea how far that is (and is there a store close by)? I plan on finishing up work early on the 8th. What time are the gates open to the lots? traveling solo, mind if i crash in?

Courtyard is very close. Just a short 5 min trip with traffic. You may be able to catch a bus or taxi over if you didn't want to drive. Look up the exact directions, but it's very close. As for a store, your best bet is go to Publix on Colonial Drive...also about 5 min. away. Not sure what time the parking lot is open, but there'll probably be people showing up by 9. Most of us are partying in lot 3 so I'm sure you'll be able to join in.

Need a parking pass (or somewhere to tailgate in Lot 3)

Post by PHScottie2shoes »

So the friends I was supposed to go with just decided to get divorced and are not coming. They have my parking pass (and I feel weird asking for it) and the other people I am meeting are not coming until 5 or so. I took the whole day off to party and I'm looking for either a parking pass or some new friends! LOL>

I have a feeling the decision has been pending for a while... tho he should have made arrangements to get you the parking pass.. it isn't like it is community property after Thursday

Thanks Feesh, I'll probably take you up on that. I don't want to wait until 5 to start partying.
