Don't worry - right after they cure cancer, scientists will be working on a cure for that. :)
I was subjected to it long enough by the guy in the room above me in the dorm that I learned to love it. It was his mission to get everyone to love it. I think it only worked on me.

Going back to my $2500 UB40 post. I think it proves that as long as there are people with a warped sense of priorities and more money than brains, the price of Jimmy's tickets are not too high. And I don't care what anyone says, UB40 is a great band. Their new recording (2006) is a grammy nominee and well deserving. They are an awesome old school reggae band. When Chrissie Hines plays with them they are even better.

Actually, what his prices are now doing is squeezing out the scalpers of the non-premium tickets. Yes, I admit it. Back when the tickets were much cheaper, I scalped tickets on ebay. I purchased 8 on Ticketmaster the second they went on sale and sold pairs. I made 2-4x for bad seats. Now only the really good seats get prices. It is the scalpers that determine what a fair price because they show what the market will bare.

I think it is hilarious that this went from a simple "hey what do you think about ticket prices" question to a social/ economic study of those who have an apparent need to fess up such things as attending Britney Spears concerts or traveling across the Atlantic to see UB40 or ACTUALLY admitting to enjoying the music of ABBA.

While we are letting the skeletons out, in addition to poor concert choices I spent my money on pre - ordering Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows (not coming out until July) and I own all the Rocky Movies including part five which is just horrible put did watch it before spending more money (10$ for the ticket and another 60 on dinner before hand) to see Rocky Balboa in the theatres.
the hit and run is as good as any religion around this time of year . . .

Next time I'm good & drunk, I'm going to post how much I also liked the Bay City Rollers.

With all this disgruntlement, maybe I'll actually be able to get a ticket now if I am ever near anywhere JB plays!
