Landshark only FL?

i asked our local AB rep about distribution. He hadnt gotten any word on LSL but it seems that once bud rolls out a product it can go nationwide within 2-3 weeks

I tried it at the KW M'ville. It was ok, nothing special but rather light. Not at all like Corona in my opinion.

I saw it available at a few locations in KW, but didn't buy any because I had to fly out.

I'd like to see it up here, but I don't think it will change my drinking habits all that much.

You should NEVER use LIME in a corona. Only reason why that was started was the crappy cleaning system Mexicans had in Mexico back when they first produced Corona. Since you would return your bottles, and they would not wash them out-- the citric acids in the Lime would steralize the bottle making it somewhat more sanatary.

or when getting close to the state line in Lower Alabama and stopping at the Pig/Publix/Winn Dixie... Abita is not a bad addition to the beer cooler

Anheiser Busch has long arms,and also has a large brewery in Columbus....

I thought beer was for freezing into a beercicle so you could eat it, not drink it. WOW! I guess I'll stop freezing it now. I didn't know beer was DRINKABLE.

There's a Landshark Lager billboard on I-10 here going into Jax, which makes sense considering this is where it's brewed.
Just found out that my wife's friend works there. I need to figure out how to work that to my advantage

"drinkable" is code for "a beer so lacking in taste or body you can pound one after another and be drunk before you get bloated".

Kinda like a wine that is "quafable".

That's the first I've heard or seen of anything happening outside of FL or the M'villes. My guess is either Dayton is a test market for broader distribution or you got bad info. Let us know if you hear more.

I understand and have posted that several times on BN.

That's part of what makes this is such an intriguing strategic move by A-B. (It would have made much more sense for LS Lager to be a Miller product.) Viewing the packaging, promo info, etc. their competitive target is clearly Corona.

This is just like the old days when people would bring Coors from Colorado.

Here is a little more info on the LSL and a competing Miller product. It comes from Ad Age. Funny, they mention Jimmy a few times but they spell Buffett with one T throughout.
