i'm going to ireland this summer too. I'll share any info I get if you do the same. I haven't really begun planning but will buy a book this weekend to start. Trying to decide on a package or buy myself. Airfare deals are pretty good. What did you get, if you don't mind sharing.

Depending on your tastes and interests, Kinsale is a great place to go explore and eat. Also if you like hike visit the area around Baltimore. Go out to the Saltee Islands just off the coast at Kilmore Quay.

If you want more touristy things, there the Waterford Crystal Factory, the Cliffs of Mohar, the Ring of Kerry, the Irish Stud and Japanese Gardens, Blarney Castle, Bunratty Folk Park and Castle (and dinner show), Ashford Castle, Adare, the Burren and of course the entire Dublin experience. If you are feeling slightly more bold, head to the North and visit the Giant's Causeway and Bushmill's distillery.

That's just the quick and dirty, there are lots of other things to do and see.

Will be in Ireland for the first two days and then flying down to Brindisi Italy to visit family. Grandmother and all aunts and uncles from mom's side still live there. Then will take a train to Northern Italy, then down to Spain for the running of the bulls and then relax a few days or more in San Sebastion and then back to Ireland for last five days or so.

Thanks for all the info and pleae keep them comin.

Temple Bar is a great place. Take care in Pamplona, our friend was gored badly a couple of years ago. Saw him on CNN & Fox news. It was horific
