Sherrif's wife and a deputy were shot and killed last night
in a town about an hour from Panama City. Mariana is a small town. Some are rumoring it to be a contract hit on the sherrif and his wife.
Two scumbags were also shot and killed and a third might have gotten away. Truly sad. Sail on Mrs. McDaniel and Deputy. Thank you for your service.

nothing sends a message about being able to "reach and touch someone" like removing their spouse from the face of the earth?CapnK wrote:how sad. Why go after the wife?

so true. Some things should always be off-limits even when it comes to dirty business. Like the old Sicilians, they would never mess with the family...well other than offing a daddy or twoRinglingRingling wrote:nothing sends a message about being able to "reach and touch someone" like removing their spouse from the face of the earth?CapnK wrote:how sad. Rumor I have heard from someone in Mariana.
Rumors fly in Jackson county, but here's a composite from a couple of wifes of law inforcement officers. There was a case involving a man trying to collect insurance on his dead wife. Suspiscion arose over her death and his involvement. Apparently, the JCSD had not closed the case or cleared him. He sued the insurance company, part of his defense was a man who was his alibi. He was refused the policy money from the insurance company all the way up to federal court, and apparently this week was his last shot. It's then that he and the man with the alibi decide to take revenge.
Skip to yesterday...Milli, Sheriff McDaniel's wife is driving home and she's being followed. She, the Sheriff and her daughter stay on the Nextel *beep beeps*, so she beeps the Sheriff. He tells her not to get out of the car. She, instead, drives around the house close to the garage door into the house and tries to exit. The open fire on her, first shot is through the passenger's window, second takes her down as she's trying to get into the house. Sheriff McDaniel is in route when he hears her yelling over the nextel phone, an officer who was close was first to arrive. He see's her in the garage, radios that he sees the perps vehicle but no perps. He leans over to see about Mrs. McDaniel and is gunned down (head shot). Sheriff McDaniel arrives, he and the officers with him are shot at as they drive into the yard. One of the officers is believed to have killed both perps.
I've heard a lot of crazy stuff, but that seems to be the best information I've heard yet.

That ice would likely be from a passing jet airliner that jettisoned their Biffy.
They're supposed to only dump their overflow over completely desolate areas
what a sh*tty way to go
