I did get a discount as my dad works for a Ford Supplier, so that cuts in a little bit. Sorry. As to why the Explorer, I am 6'2" 250 pounds, so I needed something big.

97 Ford V8 Explorer (still going strong)
Our other car is a Tahoe
We used the V8 Explorer to pull our Tahoe Cargo Camper
Had to get more power to haul the Harley.
