as a ford stockholder, i thank you. it's a start in the right direction. ford claims they won't be making any money for at least another 2 years.
so no stock checks for a while. why the explorer and not the escape?

I did get a discount as my dad works for a Ford Supplier, so that cuts in a little bit. Sorry. As to why the Explorer, I am 6'2" 250 pounds, so I needed something big.

Ford..."found on road dead"
Just kidding. Had Ford pickups for years. Had 1 Dodge in between. That was a piece of junk.
Good luck with the new vehicle.

My best friend who is slightly taller than you drove an Explorer for years and loved it. He has moved up to the Diesel Excursion so he can use it to haul his Airstream :o

Congrats on your new ride...

We've driven a Ford since 1988

88 Mustang 5.0 Convertible
94 Mustang 5.0 Convertible
97 Ford V8 Explorer (still going strong) :)

Our other car is a Tahoe
We used the V8 Explorer to pull our Tahoe Cargo Camper
Had to get more power to haul the Harley.

My hubby just got a Marniner yesterday. We traded in our 11 year old Explorer for it.

My husband's family are strictly FORD people. That is all I have driven since I've been married. I, however, love my expedition and I hope you like your explorer! Congratulations! :D
