Anybody else catch Seger on his current tour? I saw him in Boston this past weekend. Faaaaaantastic!
Anybody else have any thoughts? He played "Fire Down Below" for the first time on this tour in honor of being back in Boston.
Here's a review from the Boston Herald...

Dude, if I knew you were going to the show, I would have suggested meeting up for a beer before hand. I went to the show too. And yes, I agree, the show rocked the house.

I saw the second concert in the tour in Saginaw Michigan...Seger's home state. It was a great concert. I'm so glad I finally got a chance to see him again.
Anyone who gets the chance....don't miss it!

10th of next month. Wasn't as impressed with the new album's material as I was with Against the Wind, or Like A Rock's, but I am impressed that he came back and took a shot.
Looking forward to seeing him for what is probably the last time.

Ah damn thats too bad Ravi. I go to a TON of concerts in the area so next time you go to a show...chances are I will be there. Whenever a good show comes to town, I can't resist buying tickets. I have a real problem! I think its time for intervention.

Saw him last night! Great show!
You know what was neat....NO BIG SCREEN!!!
You didnt have to stare at a big screen all night. It was all about the music.
And did anyone notice that Shaun Murphy was with him, she sings for Little Feat now.

Yes Bob introduced her at the Boston show as also being in Little Feat. He also has Don Brewer on drums from Grand Funk Railroad.
Bob was also spotted at the Bruins game on Monday night. Alto Reed got to play the national anthem on the sax before the game too! A big week for Bob here in Massachusetts.

My coworker's brother in law is Bob's tour manager. She and her sister (the wife of tour manager) went to the Boston show on Saturday- she said it was the best show she'd seen. I think it was her 5th show.

Yea, you need to go to more.
I'm not that far from the Garden anyway so if you want to meet for a drink at the Fours, then I will gladly come over.

I caught him at the garden, great show. My Dad took me to my Seger for my first concert back in '80 or so at the Nassau Coliseum so now I make sure I take him everytime he's around. I thought he had a good setlist although I could do without Betty Lou, Old Time RnR (which, I know, isn't going anywhere) and Horizontal Bop. 61 and kickin' like that, I'm impressed. I never thought he got the respect he deserved in comparison to others.
The opening act, Steve Azar, was pretty good as well.

Saw him in Dallas Thursday night with one of my old roommates from college. Bob put on an excellent high energy show with an outstanding mix of new and older songs. The Silver Bullet Band always does an incredible job and they were backed by 3 female vocalists and a 4 piece horn section (in addition to Alto Reed on a variety of saxophones). My friend had never seen Seger in concert (i saw him twice in the early 80s) and he was totally blown away.
Come back baby

my 2 cents......
i saw ....b s....last nite at the oakland areana. this was the first time i had seen him, and i am sorry i had never seen him before. he put on a great show. he also took a 15 -20 minute break after the first hour and then played about another hour with 3 encores. i sat to the the side of the stage, where you could hear the music, but you could not hear the words clearly.
if i had the time, i would go see him in vegas on march 3rd, or even one of the detroit shows.
