Who is the numbnut at Time Warner who put up those special lights throughout the city of Boston causing the whole city to practically shut down.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I think the companies who thought of this should be sued for this.

Don't think they won't be.

I'm sure at least 100 people in this sue-happy society have already filed lawsuits demanding they be paid $1 million or more because this made them late for work...

I would disagree. Look at how much publicity has been generated across the country simply by a traffic jam in one city.

To an economic/marketing person, this was a better outcome than the original idea of just marketing in those 13 cities.

Time Warner can look all high and mighty by distancing themselves from the advertising company all the while reaping the benefits of the media coverage.

BRILLIANT!

I think people are just a little too jumpy. If terrorists are going to plant bombs, or whatever, they will disguise them to look like they belong.

They won't put big flashing lights on them.

Exactly. These guys are being demonized for engaging in nothing more than a clever advertising campaign. Can you imagine if Orson Wells made his War of the Worlds broadcast now? He'd be burned at the stake.

Who can I sue for making it so I can't think of anything good for which to sue someone?

Don't think so either but the company responsible for this should at least pay for part of the emergency response.
