Hi Friends!<br><br>Here are a few great boat drink recipes to warm your soul during winter and take you where the breezes are warm and the palm trees sway.<br><br>While you relax with your boat drink, listen to Island Time Radio and truly get taken away!<br><br>Image<br><br><br><br><b>Dirty Banana</b><br><br><br><br>Image<br><br>1 ounce rum-based coffee liqueur<br>1 ounce rum cream<br>2 ounces milk<br>1/2 ounce simple syrup (a mixture of 1/2 water and 1/2 sugar that is simmered until sugar is dissolved)<br>1/2 banana<br>1 cup ice<br><br>Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend for 1 minute, or until desired consistency. Serve in a frosted mug.<br><br><br><b>The Ultimate Margarita</b><br><br><br><br>Image<br><br>1 lime, halved<br>Coarse salt<br>1/2 cup freshly squeezed lime juice, from about 4 limes<br>1 tablespoon sugar<br>1/4 cup orange-flavored liqueur (recommended: Grand Marnier)<br>1/4 cup Triple Sec<br>1 cup gold tequila<br>Ice<br>1/2 can good quality lager-style beer<br>Lime wheels, for garnish<br><br>To salt the margarita glasses, rub the outside rims of 4 big glasses with a cut lime and press them lightly into a plate of kosher salt, to coat.<br><br>Combine the lime juice, sugar, orange liqueur, Triple Sec, tequila, and a big handful of ice in a cocktail shaker (or blender). Shake the margarita really well, for a good 20 seconds, add a splash of beer and strain into the salt rimmed glasses filled with ice. Garnish with a lime wheel. <br><br><br><b>Jamaican Bum</b><br><br>1 shot Malibu® coconut rum<br>1 shot Midori® melon liqueur<br>1 shot banana liqueur<br>fill with 7-Up® soda<br>1 shot half-and-half<br><br>Pour the shots into a glass over ice, fill with 7-up, add cream and stir. Garnish with any fruit or cherry.<br><br><br><b>Mango Margaritas</b><br><br><br><br>Image<br><br>Sugar, for rim of glasses<br>1/2 lime, cut into quarters<br>1/2 cup tequila<br>2/3 cup mango nectar<br>3 tablespoons bottled lime juice<br>1 cup ice cubes<br><br>Spread a thin layer of sugar on a saucer. Run 1 lime wedge around rim of 2 margarita or martini glasses. Press rims into sugar on saucer to create narrow sugared edge on each glass.<br><br>In a cocktail shaker or small pitcher, combine tequila, mango nectar, lime juice and ice cubes. Shake or stir vigorously for 30 seconds. Strain equal amounts into each glass. Squeeze juice from 1 lime piece into each drink and drop lime piece in. Serve immediately.<br><br><b>Put the Lime in the Coconut</b><br><br><br><br>Image<br><br><br>2 parts pineapple-coconut juice (recommended: Kern's)<br>1 splash bottled lime juice (recommended: Rose's)<br>1 part vanilla vodka<br>1/2 part half-and-half<br>1/2 part banana Schnapps<br>Ice cubes<br>1/4 cup honey<br>1/4 cup sweetened coconut flakes (recommended: Baker's)<br><br>Add all ingredients, except coconut flakes and honey, in a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour honey onto a plate. Lay out coconut on a plate. Dip the rims of chilled glasses into honey and roll in coconut. Shake and pour into chilled martini glasses to serve.<br><br><br><b>Key Lime Pie Martini</b><br><br>Image<br><br>Graham cracker crumbs, for rimming the glass<br>2 lime wedges<br>6 tablespoons (3 ounces) vanilla flavored vodka<br>1/4 cup (2 ounces) key lime liqueur (recommended: KeKe Beach Key Lime Liqueur)<br>2 tablespoons pineapple juice<br>2 tablespoons heavy cream<br>Ice cubes<br><br>Pour the graham cracker crumbs in a shallow dish. Rub a lime wedge around the edge of a martini glass and roll the edge in the graham cracker crumbs. Chill the glass for 30 minutes or until ready to serve.<br><br>Combine the vanilla vodka, key lime liqueur, pineapple juice, and cream in a shaker. Fill the shaker half full with ice and shake until well blended.
