What's with that? Yeah, I dig Afro-Cuban, but I'd rather hear the new song!

Bet it's an SI decision. Jimmy was playing new songs off TTWWY over the summer tour before the CD was released. These were played during the shows played on RM even before the CD was released.

No complaints about last night's show. Even on RM it sounded great and Jimmy ending the show with Changing Channels was OUTSTANDING!

Same thing happened with License to Chill, when it came out as a video insert to the SI swimsuit issue. I'd be pretty sure it has to do with an embargo on broadcasting it before the issue comes out. No big deal, to me...

Hey, we heard the entire rest of the concert... FREE.... :D :D :D

Not a big deal to wait until Tuesday for one song....

SI. other than the swimsuit issue... I don't think I have even looked at the magazine in 10 years. Can't tell you the last time I bought a copy.

Remember when they used to block out "Tequila"? That was right before the promo-on-the-bottle cd came out, I think.

I think it's nice to have new music to look forward to.

I bet he'll play the song live on the the next tour.
Those who already got to hear it live, can consider themselves lucky.

Eye for one couldn't believe how he can just knife in like that, especially considering it's a brand new cut. Abandoned on Tuesday, the SI Swimsuit Issue will be a sight for sore eyes and music to me pirate ears. :pirate:

You stare at those pictures of Tyra Banks long enough, those eyes are just going to be sorer...

So what's the plan? The Swimsuit Issue has a DVD in it with a video of Jimmy with the models, and the song is in it too, with plans to release it on the next CD?
Where did others hear it before live at the concert last night?

It's a good video and the song has a catchy tune, and the lyrics are DEFINITELY an advertisement for Sports Illustrated.

Some great shots of a beautiful guitar...

That just reminded me, I also have a guitar question.
Last week while at a house I had never been to before for the Superbowl, I checked out the den and saw a really cool wall that had guitars hanging on it. At first I thought the guy was a musician, but then found out that he was a collector. All were signed by their famous former owners.
While others there were impressed by Paul Stanley's axe and Michelle Phillip's acoustic, I went nuts when I saw a Fender signed by Jimmy!
After my heart stopped pounding, I realized that it looked like my bass, a Fender Squire series model. Sure enough, it was a Fender Squire six string electric.
I bought the Squire bass instead of the real thing because of it's sub-$200 price. Would Jimmy really have a Fender Squire? I didn't think they even licensed their name to that lower end series untill well after he had made it big.
Is it probably a fake? I didn't want to p*** the guy off at his Superbowl party but when he proudly displayed a guitar formaly owned and signed by Jimmy and it was the entry level Fender series, I had to wonder.
Any Jimmy's guitar experts out there?
I guess I didn't realize how strict the auto editing was on this group.
I must have meant that I didn't want to upset him.

He also played it in Orlando earlier this week, and at the SI party in Miami on 2/3.

Only a few more days to wait.

I listened to the Orlando concert on Sirius and don't remember a censored cut. Was I too busy messing with the blender, or maybe on a bathroom break (too bad satellite don't work in there)?
Did they do the same thing as Saturday night , cut to SJB and play another artist instead?
