i just talked to the group sales lady at the hotel icon. she is going to work up something and send it to me.(and is a parrothead btw - when i told her what event she said GET OUT! NO WAY!)

btw - the houston grand prix is that weekend. it is one of the reasons hotels are a lot higher than normal.

I was ok. ETP and PHritz came up short, and that's why I want to manage the overall budget better this time around.
So... perhaps any overage this year should go to the shortages from last year.
I have no problem with that but knowing this group there won't be an overage, we'll just go bigger than we planned.
If there is anything left, it should go to PHritz. He took the biggest hit ... :D

But, as The Mayor says, "We'll just go bigger ... " :D

Since Bama Breeze is the Tour Name, Bayou Breeze sounds good too.

Think of all those "stars on the water" in Texas.

Lots of good songs about Texas beach bars/honky tonks!

Anyone know any?

Remember when Key West Band sang about the Stingaree Marina?

Larry Joe has his Third Coast song and Port A and Matagorda Island songs.

Kelly McGuire sings about Redfish Island

Sunnyjim and Jim Morris sang on the Gulf Coast and had some songs.

Lots of songs about Gruene Dancehall.

George Strait sings about the Seashores of old Mexico.

I remember a song about Wanna Wanna Beach Bar and Grill at South Padre. :D
