Who thinks he'll only do one Texas tour-stop this year, like last? (the kinky show doesn't count, I said tour-stop)

Just figured he'd do Dallas again, but maybe that was wishful thinking.

And where should we be staying? What's close to the ball park?

and hippo - tons of hotels down there. there is a hotel right across the street from the ballpark and others within a couple of blocks.

He usually does Texas in April.
The weekend before (the 15th) has the NASCAR race in Ft. Worth (not that it would matter to the Ampitheater)
2003 was the last time he played Houston, but you can't tailgate at The Woodlands.
You can fit more folks into a Ballpark and though Dallas has several that I suspect would be accomodating, perhaps JB figured it was time to go back to Houston.

I know if he did BOTH Houston & Dallas, we'd go to both shows.

hobby is probably 10 - 15 min from downtown

Exactly what I was thinking.

Since I chose Shoreline last year over Dallas, I was planning on Dallas this year. But if he's doing Houston instead, then I can make that work.

I seem to have closed the ball park website, before I looked for parking and parking-lot usage. Does anyone know if tailgating will be permitted? I need a tailgate, didn't get one last year.
