LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Al Gore announced on Thursday a series of worldwide concerts to focus on the threat of climate change, with a powerhouse lineup from the Red Hot Chili Peppers to Snoop Dogg to Bon Jovi.
The 24-hour event on July 7 is part of a campaign, Save Our Selves - The Campaign for a Climate in Crisis, that promoters hope will trigger a broad movement to address what the former vice president calls a global climate crisis.
Looks like they're trying to turn this into quite the worldwide event...Al Gore as a rock star kinda scares me.
I think they need to get Buster on board to do "Hot, Hot, Hot."

And it will be during the day so they don't need lights.
And they will all be performing from their houses so they don't need to use up gas to get to the venue.
Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar

Probably not. Last I read even Al Gore was not signed up for the "slightly higher priced but better for the environment" power service into his own home. Me? I have solar panels on my home and I went into debt to do it.

Unless they're powering it with wind or solar energy or any of the plethora of renewable resources (which alone are not as efficient as fossil fuels), you're right.
