I live in upstate New York and am waiting to go active duty for the NAVY in April. This will be my 2nd show (first being Orlando this year) and I'm lookin forward to meetin more BNers and just enjoying the music live that I spend the rest of the year listenin to! It's a nice break from the crazieness of the world even if its just for a day or a weekend...
DAVE-
Make sure you say hi to me. I spent 9 years on active duty in the Navy, and another 15 in the active reserves.
It's going to be a hell of a concert, and I'm happy you'll be there with us.

Wednesday Question:
If you could be somehwere other than your home locale, where would it be?
Me: I'd be in Disney World. I'm a big kid. I enjoy the feeling much like a Buffett show where you can check your worries at the door and "escape". Disney is a one stop shop for whatever gets you going. Fantasy? Adventure? Whimsy? It's all there. Buffett is cheaper than Disney so I can do that more.
Disney or Vegas. I'm intrigued by Vegas and the Vegas lifestyles. I'm not sure I can make a life for myself there but I love the surroundings. So mcuh to do and I've only scratched the service. One thing about Vegas is they know how to put on a Buffett show. The town caters to it which I found odd but awesome to experience.
The Parrot Dice Lounge kinda like a mirage. Here today and gone tomorrow. You should stop by and say hello when visiting Chicago on tour.
I didn't even clarify live or vacation but I guess I should have. NO MATTER ITS MORE REASON TO POST WHATEVER.
I really like living here actually in the suburbs of CHicago.
To Live:
Phoenix area, AZ
San ANtonio, Tx was nice.
I guess in relation to relocating I haven't been too many places and looked at them that way. I prefer quiet with options - like the suburb of a big city.

I've yet to go to Key West. I want to believe it will make my list after I've been there but until then . . . I must wait.
My neighbors and wifes friends love it. We are due to get dragged along sometime soon . . . if it weren't for the pregnancy this year would have likely been it.

I'd pick southern California. Ocean, mountains, beautiful climate all year.
Love the Caribbean and Hawaii, but a little too isolated to do it full-time.
Love Florida, but too sticky in the summer.
If I could do winters in the Caribbean and summers in the cool blue North, that might be even better yet!
I love visiting southern California, but I am not a hot weather person (how ever did I get to be a parrothead!) and know I would miss the change of seasons.
I actually do like the Chicago area a lot, so I might just stay put, with a winter break in southern California to escape some of the cold and snow each year!
Never been to Key West or Hawaii (what a sad life I lead!)

I really couldn't agree more with you.
So. Cal is nice climate-wise but I think all people in California are odd and they frighten me.

Ooops, I 'm already a day behind on the "Tinley Goers Question of the Day."
I'm a retired speech therapist who works part-time an art museum. I love the Buffett ambience (sp?) and since ejr "adopted" me a couple years ago I've loved traveling to Chicago for a summertime show. Chicago is one of my favorite places; I love Minneapolis, too, except for a couple months each year when it's waaaaaay too cold. If I had to relocate, I'd probably pick the Pacific Northwest. I love to travel and am looking forward to a trip to Chile in just 9 more days.
