We are putting the finishing touches on everything today and tomorrow. We are making our jello shots tonight. I also have s*** and blow shots. I hope all the BN'ers will come by and see us. We are going to attach some helium balloons to our wheel of phortune, so look for those.

Also, it looks like we have 2 people that can't make it. If anyone wants to come on our bus trip and the beer deck let me know.

And merry it will be! :D This has been my transportation to Alpine the last 6 years, and the hostess is the mostest! A much better alternative to drinking and driving, and a good time is had by all. Good people, good fun, good laughs, good times! [smilie=superkewl.gif]
Wow, and she wasn't even paid for that comment. Six years!? Has it really been that long? Holy cow we're getting old. NOT!
Love ya man.

Does anyone know if the Meeting of the Mindless Party at Alpine is sold out Friday night? I was thinking about attending if that's still possible? Does anyone know how much it is to get in? The website just mentioned a "donation at the door".

Thanks in advance! :D

I've seen obstructed seats down close on the side where you can only see about 20% of the stage :(
That's what I'm afraid of.... :-?

Alright another parking lot question. Is there a charge for general parking? Do you need to purchase a couple of extra to set up your tailgate area? We will cram every one in to 2 vehicles plus a 12' trailer that is loaded with tailgate supplies. I am hoping we can get 2 extra spots for our stuff.
Thanks

Hey sorry I haven’t posted in a while, between work, getting the kids ready to go of to college, and watching them play their respected sports, there hasn’t been much time spent on the computer. We are indeed still going to Alpine, especially after going to the Tinley park show. Jimmy was great!

On the Tinley Park thread they had what everybody was doing and where to meet, I was wondering if someone was going to post something like that for Alpine? We are still coming up with a total of ten true Buffett fans and would love to stop by and meet some of you. We’re having a Buffett breakfast Saturday Morning, then heading up to check in at the Alpine Resort. From then on in it’s all down hill from there.

Looking forward to meeting all of you…….Fins up!

General parking is tacked on as a $3 charge for every ticket sold. I'm not sure if they will let you into the general lot with a trailer in tow. They tend to leave a decent amount of space between the rows, but extras will not be granted in most cases.

They create one row from left to right completing a row, those people tailgaite infront of their cars, then they start a car behind the last one on the right working all the way back to where they started, two cars to a 'row'. It isn't like this 100% of the time, but more often than not. I do remember a horse trailer in the main lot 2 years ago that they let park out to the side of the lot.

The people that are parking are like 16 year old kids that could likely care less...throw them a 20 an have them look the other way...if security comes in later to bust your balls about taking up extra space, just tell them that there were scalpers parked next to you that sold their supply and left. Happens all the time.

8 more hours of work and then time to start getting the liver into shape!
