I wanted to buy tickets all I had to do was hit send, but I'm not working. That just makes it that sad that I'd love to travel around to see Jimmy. I need the $$$ so I'll just wait till e comes to the Chgo area.

OMG! I am so totally psyched. just got 8 no problem. now we just need to start planning the tailgate and which lot we will all be in! I hear that Gilette will not be opening it's lots until 3:30 pm; or so they think!

I was able to get 6 tickets for the Labor Day eve show this morning but I was somewhat confused by the ticket choices, and as always rushed through the tickemaster system so I ended up getting $145.00 floor seats, which is NOT what I wanted.


I am thinking of trading them for lesser value tickets (an amount to equal the cost of the 6 that I purchased)

Got 8, 4 and 4. Now I will be able to bring others that have always wanted to go but always get shut out.

I got 8 cheap seats for Sunday night, 9/2.....4 in 337 and 4 in 338.

What a surprise.....just luck that my bud received an email from
Gillette Stadium, although I am not sure why he did.

I just picked up 6 in sec. 132 for Sunday, and a friend got 4 in sec. 138 for Saturday... best ticket buying experience for a Buffett concert EVER!

I have to agree....very easy......I got 4 no problem.....my friends got 6 no sweat.

TM now says:

"We currently do not have any tickets on sale for Jimmy Buffett."

They may have sold out the allotment of pre-sale seats. But keep trying as they may add more.

Presales are for the concerts at stadiums...TM or tickets.com will have a presale for season ticket holders. You can get excellent seats via a presale, if you know the pw prior to the presale starting.

Bottom line: if Jimmy is coming to a stadium near you, make friends with someone who has season tix and get the presale pw.

Probably just the stadiums. Presales are intended to benefit sports teams season ticket holders.

For instance, when Jimmy played the ballpark in Philly in 2005, the presale was for season ticket holders for the Eagles/Phillies/Flyers. In Pittsburgh, for Pirates season ticket holders.

I was sent the password from the Patriots and Gillete stadium for being on the Patriots season ticket waiting list.

I would think that most venues would have a similar set up.

The obvious reason for so many seats being available is the fact that 2 nights at Gillette is like 4 nights at Great woods. I would guess that We're talking close to 120,000 people for both shows. No matter who the artitst is, that's a crap load of seats to sell, and I'm sure that the presale has it's limits to how many of those seats are being sold just for the presale.
