Thanks MNHulaGirl!
Yes, I have been on the lawn for many years and know how much fun it can be. ALmost as much fun as the parking lot!
Where did you find the prices by the way?

Well I heard at least 3 commercials today on the radio advertising the show, so It is no longer a secret.
I really do not know why they need to put commercials on the radio when it will sell out. Seems like a waste of money to me....

If I sit on the lawn, how much earlier do I have to get there to get a good spot? I like the parking lot so much that I stay as long as poss before I go to my seats.

If you don't care about pavilion or lawn, how hard is it to get tickets? Should it be relatively easy to get lawn if we are online monday morning?

Oh, to be able to breathe that big sigh of relief and know that you've got tickets in hand for at least one show. What a busy morning! We got in and had less than a minute wait before getting tickets. Hope everyone had as easy a time of it today.
Hope to meet all of you at Alpine in 152 days!

I GOT TICKETS!!! I had no problem getting lawn tickets. I was surprised to see they were only $33 each, weren't they more last year?

Yes, I thought tickets were closer to $40 last year. Maybe Jimmy's just doing it for us fans this year - not for the money.

Whew! I was lucky enough to score 2 lawn tickets for Alpine Valley. Had to get them one at a time though but it worked. It will be our first time there - what is the scoop on nearby motels? Everywhere I checked is already booked up. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

My group eneded up really lucky getting seats this year, a bunch of lawn (extras already up in the ticket exchange) and a couple of reserve seats.
See you all there!

I had no luck this year.
Why did they raise the seat limit to 8 again.
