You know they announce tix in Feb/March, why did you schedule vaca at this time?(LOL) My SIL does this every year and then calls me from some Caribbean beach and says "Did we get tickets?" Did WE get tickets. . . nooooo Igot tickets cause I stayed home in the brutal winter weather just to buy tickets!!

When a FREE

trip is offered to you to go to a sunny, warm, tropical location in the middle of winter how could you turn it down?? Although, the minute I knew when we were going, back in November, I said, Oh, no, I bet we miss the onsale date for tickets.

You should NEVER turn down a "FREE" trip to anywhere. I know I wouldn't. But maybe the real price is missing out on tix to Buffett, however I would take my cell with TM preprogramed, take my laptop with my wireless card, call all my PH friends and bribe them with presents to buy tix for me. If I get any extras I'll let you know. . . for some presents?

Yikes I'm stressing the sale will be while i'm in OBX. I have no choice on this vaca time as it's the college kids in my house's spring break. We go to Frisco every year. Twice tix have gone on sale while I was there. I know the risk. I"ll offer some Jersey fudge and salt water taffy to the kind person who can help me if the dates are while I'm away.

Well, a Saturday show would be too good to be true, so I'm just setting myself up that it will be Tues 6/26 as rumored above.

In all "defense" of Pierre not playing Buffett, it's a "management" thing. I know Pierre is sick and tires of having to play GnR and will basically "sneak" in a Dead tune or two every now and then. Yep, the Dead is not on MMR's "acceptable" artists listing. I don't like it either - that's why we load JB on the ipod now!

wow, i hate to see what this thread is going to be like when they finally announce a show in the area. 12 pages and nothing has even happened yet.
