It's my annual time to come out of lurker mode
I happened to check my e-mail after feeling under-the-weather for a couple of days, and what do I find? Presale invite! That's just what I needed to perk me back up. That, and getting 2 tickets in Sec 121!!!!!!!
I'll be making the trek again this year, and would love to meet up with you Hoot Islanders again. Hopefully, I won't be scrambling at 6:30 AM to rent a car like last year.
A big thumbs-up to R2, 4Play, Auntie and ETP for making my first BN tailgate a great time. I couldn't have asked for a nice introduction to soo many people. Let me know what I can contribute.

They need to be more specific about the online pre-sale - I got the pre-sale password, but someone told me it was only for season ticketholders of the venue of the concert. I've been to the last 6 Dallas shows and can never remember a online presale before tickets go on sale to the public. Even at that, it usually sells out in less than 15 minutes.......at this rate there will be no tickets on sale on Monday, the 26th as all will be sold during this pre-sale.
Now I read on the Pizza Hut stadium site that parking lots will open at 2:00 PM - are they nuts...........we always arrive around 10:00. 2:00 PM is just not enough time! Hopefully someone can convince them to change that.
We're looking for some groups to party with = seems like our group gets smaller and smaller each time.

Cool - You can bring the first batch of liquor for the margarita machine;
It takes (2) 1.75 Liters of Tequila and (2) 1 Liter bottles of Triple Sec to make a 4 Gallon batch.
I'm guessing we'll need 5 or 6 batches, but Stew can let us know if we need to bring more than that.

To Sherrie - I'm sure they will have to make room for RV's - that's a given with Buffett parties........but this is a new venue for Buffett.......Remember last year at Smirnoff - the place where we always set up was blocked off for "Employee parking"..........well that lasted for a few hours and then fans just started parking there.........then last year for the first time they designated a specific area just for RV's...........that lasted for a while too until that space was full so people were just pulling in anywhere they could.............nothing can stop Buffett fans.......hope Pizza Hut Park will be considerate!

I asked before tix went on sale ... her response "It's to early to commit."
Translation = I might be traveling. I might be busy.
Then, a week or so before the show, it'll be .... DID YOU GET ME A TICKET FOR THE JIMMY BUFFETT SHOW?

If ABQkeet decides to DJ you can bring everything for that - sound equipment, small table, little generator to run it.
Frognot - brisket sounds good. The extra grill is PHarmBoy's call.

He's gotten a green light from his company to use the equipment again. We'll find a small generator, etc.

When I was there last year, we walked around cold bottles of Cabo Wabo Blanco and poured shots for those that were "so inclined". If I remember correctly, Mr. Play enjoyed a few of them!!!

I sure hope we passed out plenty, because we went through a bottle and a half.
