Two different SI guitars?

Going through the SI issue, I noticed the models posed with two different guitars, with two different Jimmy signatures. One has a large "Jimmy Buffet", and the other has the "fins to the left..." message with a smaller signature. Even the Ebay page shows the model holding a different guitar than the one pictured for bid. Maybe Jimmy's keeping the extra for himself!

If I'm not mistaken the Jimmy's first signature wore off during the guitars adventures and he had to resign it.

Jimmy's signature isn't the only one that changes from one picture to another. Looks pretty certain there are two guitars.

Let the buyer beware. Just make sure that You are biding on the same guitar.

The auction says it's #5 out of 168 (or something like that).... There wouldn't be two #5's out of a limited edition guitar... Maybe Jimmy had his signed too, although I don't know why he'd sign his own. Maybe they used a wipe off marker at first, on accident?

Got a response from the people listing on ebay. They said "the large picture is the one that is being auctioned". Didn't say why there were two guitars, but they have added pictures of the model signing party on the ebay site. Great pictures of the guitar being auctioned and the models signing.
Maybe they needed two guitars to facilitate the various photo shoots.

Actually in one of the videos listed at margaritaville.com, Jimmy says that the guitar is the Pollywog instead of the Shellback.
Maybe that was early in the game, and things changed, but the video was already done.

Having seen the video and some of the pics, I figure there was a stunt guitar....

I can see the warning. Kids this is a professional guitar, Don't try this at home.

Bidder 49 and Bidder 52 are locked in a battle with Bidder 49 currently on top at
$40,200 with just over 1 day to go. Now let me go check under the cushions of my couch and see if I can raise enough to top that bid.
