New Jell-O Flavors!

Mmmmmm, I haven't had the strawberry daiquiri or pina colada but I did find some of the Margarita jello in time for the 2005 Portland, OR show......they really made some killer 'rita shots! Just add Tequila, triple sec and a squeeze of fresh lime in place of the H2O and mmmm mmmm mmmmmmmm........

and do not repeat do not add whipped cream to the mix

hmmmmm, depends on what part of the "mix" you are referring too.....

Pina Colada Jello...What's not to like about that!! Will have to try that really soon!!! What will they come out with next???

I GOT MINE!!!!!!!!

Target was the only place I could find any. Tried the 2 big grocery chains with no luck. I was only able to get the Strawberry and Pina Colada flavors. Margarita was already sold out. I have my tickets AND Jello shots for Gilette in Sept, can life get any better than that!

I got all three kinds today at MARC's of all places.

A couple of questions.

What kind of alcohol did you all use for each kind? Someone mentioned using just tequilla, triple sec, and a hint of lime juice, but, wouldn't you have to do at least part water? Also, how many jello shots can you get out of one box? Finally, did you freeze them or just put them in the fridge?

Sorry, I haven't made jello shots since college, so, I'm a little out of practice. I really want to make some of each kind for the Pittsburgh show on Saturday, though. Let me know if you have any jello shot advice for me...thanks!

I used coconut rum and pineapple rum together in the pina colado jello,
coconut rum in the strawberry diaquiri, and I didn't make the margarita one yet, but that will just be tequila.

I got about 12 jello shots from each box. I only put them in the fridge.

I've been looking for this stuff ever since this thread got started, and they just now got the stuff at my local Wal-Mart. It's not in the normal jello place, it was in a cardboard display thingy hanging from an end cap.

yeah, i was shocked to find it at marc's of all places. they didn't have it at target. actually, i'm thinking about going back to get some more before they sell out for the season.

Had to make jello shots a few weeks ago and tried melon fusion jello with sour apple pucker...tastes alot like a jolly rancher. It was VERY well received and that was the one we ran out of first this time!!!
