Lot fewer calories.
My personal favorite is olive oil and lemon juice - but can't get that when I'm at a restaurant. :)

I don't care about calories, I just like it better without stuff dripping off of it.

Ok, I know I must sound like the pickiest eater...seems there are very few things I like...other than french Fries!
But, to make it worse...I eat one thing at a time...in the same order and they can NEVER touch each other.
Ex: veggies first, potato or rice second...meat third.
If I have a sandwich...I eat all of my fries first before I take one bite of the sandwich...never mix my food.

with Cranberry sauce.. and the other Mayo.. 8) 8) 8)

A little different, but I don't think it's all that odd, Kitty. :)

OMG!!!! That' soooooooo funny, I've never even thought about "touching" food. I dated someone that was worried about this but the bigger deal was she would not set her silverware down on the table unless there was a napkin to set it on...anybody worried about that? I'm not being judgemental, but it cracks me up, guess I have no class. If you come on my sailboat be ready to "hold" your plastic silverware and if the wind is blowing, everything "touches" everything, I kinda like it [smilie=lilyellowdevil.gif]

the only time I like white bread....turkey, mayo & cranberry sauce on good old wonder bread.....NIRVANA....

I'm pretty much a mixer.....except hot/cold things shouldn't mix....but pretty much anything else is okay....I don't like syrup, but it would really skeeve me out on eggs or ham.....
I'm sooooooooooooooo not a picky eater.......which explains A LOT!

This thread is crazy, cuz I love to mix everything! It is not uncommon for most things on my plate to be mixed up and eaten as one. Last night, venison, mashed potatoes and peas.....all cut up and mixed up. During a weekend breakfast it is not uncommon to put my eggs on top of my French toast/waffles and dip my bacon in the syrup. If there are baked beans and potato salad.....they are always mixed. I dunno, I'm a mixin' fool I guess!!!

I so hear ya on the food touching!!!!!

Whats the deal with "modern" restaurants these days and how they serve your food?

When in Sydney last week I ordered meat pie, mash, peas and gravy.

It came in a BOWL ... with the pie in the middle .. the peas swirled all around the bottom of the bowl in the gravy and the potato ON TOP of the pie  Took me a good 5 minutes to rearrange it all side by side and the peas SEPARATE to everything else .....

So - these days -they put the veges on the bottom of the plate and your meat on top of the veges and drizzle sauce over everything - VERY ANNOYING!
