Okay now, I agree Sabrina & Sundance shouldn't have left before Sanjaya & Haley... but in the end, doesn't the cream inevitably rise to the top? I mean, what does it really matter if Sanjaya or Phil or Sundance or Sabrina or Haley or Stephanie leaves the show before the others? What matters is the top tier talent (best 6) are in it at the end... it always works out that way for the most part. I don't care in what order the second tier talent leaves the show... just as long as LaKisha, Melinda, Blake & Christopher are there in the end!

The Johnny Ketelsen Band preformed on the Lawrence Welk Show, and did an AWESOME rendition of The Clapham Junction Polka.

I don't think Haley or Sanjaya will make it to the top 10, and that is their 'touring group' I think. She is very forgettable.

Huge bummer about Sabrina though, that was a shocker. I was surprised that it was Sanjaya over Sundance, and Justin was really good looking so I thought that would buy him some votes.

I don't mind Sundance going off though, he didn't do much for me other than the obvious entertainment factor.

the top 12 tour and make a pretty hefty payout compared to those who don't make the cut.

Oh, OK, I thought it was the Top 12 are considered 'Finalists' and the Top 10 are the group that tours in the summer.

There's usually some other concerts I am more interested in getting tickets for though. Not sure the tailgating at an AI concert would be the same. Not to mention that most of the concert-goers are probably not even 18 let alone 21!

The problem...is having guys trying to sign Diana Ross songs..not easy.....and for a couple of the girls Haley ,Gina...it doesn't suite there style!!!

I still think it's Lakisha..Melinda and Jordon...Now that Sabrina is out!!!...The guys i don't like any of them!!

I ended up agreeing w/ all the judges. at first, I thought Blake did better than they said, but then on the end replay I realized they were right, he wasn't that great.

I kind of like the whole beat-box thing though. In general, that is pretty cool as a talent.

All of the guys seem at risk for being voted off tonight though.

check out this site. It predicts who will be safe/voted off. It has a very high margin of error but It's fun to see how they figure it out...

As much as I think Haley needs to go, I felt really bad for her tonight...

My thoughts on tonight.

I really enjoyed Diana Ross and her advice to everyone. She was well spoken and seemed to really care about them all. I was quite surprised.

Brandon - NO! Bad notes, forgot lyrics

Melinda - FANTASTIC.

Chris - Should not have picked "Endless Love". Not a bad singer, not his song.

Gina - Not bad. Off in spots. But fun.

Sanjaya - Still awful.

Haley - Too slow and low/mumbled at times. Forgot words. But has a decent voice, and is too cute.

Phil - Pretty strong and I enjoyed it a bit.

Lakisha - another amazing performance and voice. But is it a song America will like?

Blake. Not good, not bad, just different. Not my taste.

Stephanie - Good! But missed a few lyrics.

Chris R. Blah.

Jordin - prety voice.

My prediction is that Brandon's hitting the road tonight... although, for his own sake, I would like to let Sanjaya go. He's got a fierce fan base that will keep him around.

Haley's next after Brandon. I'm going to guess Sanjaya's gone then after those 2.

Brandon was bad - and least we know Sanjaya was 2nd to the bottom.. so there's hope.

I'm just about ready to give this show up. I almost want Sanjaya to win so the judges learn their lesson. They should have never let that no-talent puss through Hollywood!

Serious question here........what IS Sanjaya's appeal? Why does he have people voting for him at all? You can't tell me ALL the votes he gets are from this "vote for the worst" movement. Is it really the hair? The sugary sweetness? It has to be something other than the performing/singing......I just don't get it at all.
