We laughed our butts off at that!

She (and her peers) are the reason he's still on the show!

I think they all stink even Likesha and Melinda. This is the worst cast of singers ever on Idol. There is not one stand out performer. This season its all about the judges and how they react to each bad performance.

The baby girl brought it this week ... she rocked my world.

Lakisha did a great turn with the Shirley Bassey tune. She nailed the Bassey sound.

It's still a girl's world and San*bye*ya is doing his best to be one ... :o
Gentilly ... 42 years is a long time to wait .... a Northeast Texas woman can hope.

I think Melinda is one of the most talented pop singers I've heard and that comes from a person with a college degree in music.

And I think his comment of 'I know I'm not the best singer here', besides being so painfully obvious, was carefully calculated to get the pity-vote out.

Last year I was not a Taylor fan, but he was far better than Sanjaya. He's got to go soon, or I'll just stop watching till the last episode

Just Stephanie. They are only voting off one at a time now.

She has more talent in her pinky finger than Sanjaya ever will have. Yet he continues on.......and will now be in the touring group. :x

Well, since we know Sanjaya is stinky, and we know Vote For the Worst generates a ton of votes but not all of them and we know that AI can and most likey does manipulate the voting by the number of phone lines open for each contestant or other sneaky means, there has to be some reason that AI wants him around. Train wreck factor for weekly ratings? Potentially more popular on the tour for the young 'uns? More recognition factor than Stephanie for the Top 10 Tour? To give Simon someone to be horrific to every week??

I mean seriously, it wouldn't be as fun if every week the 3 judges got to day 'wow that was fantastic' to every contestant. They need to pan some of the singers, it is part of the entire reason the show is so popular. Even if I am just reading a magazine while some of the singers are on, I put it down to listen to the comments.

I was VERY disapointed that Sanjaya wasn't voted off..... he looks and sound like Micheal Jackson, but cant' sing or dance like him. If this kid wins, i will hate AI even more than I do know.

I wouldnt be suprised, though. Its obvious that most Americans have bad taste in music... just look at the rap charts. At least i know everyone here doesn't!! :D

Kevin Couvet (sp?) anyone!?? Same thing happened last year... and almost every year... the second tier talent all get voted off the show in random order because the field is larger. Sanjaya will go... maybe not as soon at everyone thinks he should, but he will. It's just a matter of time.

A quick wrap up from me...

Lakisha - Nice job doing the Donna Summer song. :)

Chris S - Not so much for me.

Gina - Enjoyed it, good song for her.

Sanjaya - I have no words. :o

Haley - Nice, pretty song.

Phil - Not bad, surprised me a little to the good side

Melinda - Fantastic with "Heaven Knows".

Blake - liked his hair more  and he was ok, I just didn't like the song.

Jordin - I loved it!

Chris R - It was ok - Not awful.

Gwen Stefani was quite beautiful, and had some good tips!
