It looked to me that everyone sure had a good time. :D

And most all the singers were out of their 'element'.

No one made me wanna [smilie=puking.gif]

Phil was ok - didn't flip my switch.

Jordin had a hard time with some of those notes.

Lakisha - beautiful. And LMAO and the kiss.

Blake? Not my genre - but I thought his twist on the song was fun. Darker hair was different. :)

Chris. Eh. Wasn't great, wasn't awful.

Melinda. Seemed to do her best to adapt, and I think she pulled it off as best she could - and was having fun.

Liked Lakisha, Blake and Melinda. The others just didn't do it for me. I work nights, every other Tuesday/Wednesday, so I didn't see last week and don't have the slightest idea how the votes will fall. If it was just this week, I'd be worried about Jordin, Chris and Phil. Still don't think Blake will win it all, but he gets points for making the performance his own. Most of the crew tonight were way out of their element, but it seems fair to throw different styles at them. Seems like one of the girls would have done Who Says You Can't Go Home. Maybe it wasn't offered to them, but I think any one of those 3 would have killed that song.

Loved Lakeisha last night.....she may have saved herself from getting voted off. Melinda was also good. I am still loving Jordin, even though she was not at her best last night. These were challenging songs for everyone, I think.

I liked Blake's performance, too, even though it was kinda weird.

I think tonight Chris will go home.....not sure who #2 will be. I was thinking Phil, but he did pretty well last night so he may have bought himself some more time.

There are some really good performers on this season. Tonight will be the surprise no one is safe episode where one of the best 3 gets voted off along with someone that totally deserves it.

I am worried about Jordin- I hope last week's votes are enough of a cushion.

I think you're right about that!

I also think it is a good thing that Jordin did so well last week and that she still has the sympathy vote on her side from the villanous treatment she got at the fund-raiser show- or she mi ght be in some serious trouble.

My pick to go is still Chris, maybe Phil.

I really liked Beat-Box Blake, but I like beat-boxing anyway and don't think it is weird. He has an amazing skill and it takes years and some serious practice to get to the level that he is at. LaKisha was my favorite of the women- which is good, I think she needed to have a good week. Hope she picks up some of the votes that may have been swinging over to Jordin/Melinda.

There was an interview with Michael W. Smith on our local news last night. Jordin has sung backup for him for the last two years and is best friends with his daughter. I thought that was pretty neat. One of the ladies I work with knows Melinda and has done several gigs with her. I love living in NashVegas!

I think Chris is gone for sure. The other one is a toss-up. I think it'll either be Blake or Lakesha. I'm hoping it's Blake.

We love Melinda! I DVR the episodes for my 6 yr. old and she watches them later. Ever since Melinda sang My Funny Valentine, she's been her favorite.

The kiss last night was priceless ... the new, softer side of Simon [smilie=blush.gif]

Well, I guessed one out of the two. NOT looking forward to the whole disco-esque thing next week.

The two that went were who I thought I would go. All of them seem like such really nice, sweet kids. :)

Right now it's hard to predict who is next.. I guess it depends on the songs they'll sing next.

Well, it has definately been an interesting season for Idol. We've all had our frustrations with Sanjaya hanging around WAY TOO LONG and others going before they should have. However, I think at this point we are down to the best 4 of the whole competition. These 4 that are left have been fairly strong every single week. Everyone has their down week, but these 4 have stood out above the rest. Who goes next? I don't know, but it is definately Melinda's competition to lose.

Pretty good odds there!! 8)

This is the Top 4 that I would have picked all along. Jordin needs a big week next time to bounce back from this week. If they all stay strong, it could be anyone's game to win, but I wonder where the people voting for Blake will vote for when he is gone (I don't think he will make the final 2, but who knows?) Maybe Jordin? I don't think Blake can win, because I think that the the people voting for the women will just swing towards one of the other women as they depart.
