Some of you had the pleasure of meeting Dave at the Orlando show...

He and his family spent the day with us at Pass-a-Grille shelling, fishing, and just hanging out on the beach. He's only 21... and me calling him "brother" with a "guy" hug when he left...

I don't even know where to start on thanking all of those that are in the armed services...


He's supposed to be deployed sometime in April...be safe "brother"...

Hey hey everybody!

Just got in from driving back from Orlando.

Thanks Breeze and kimmyphin for the kind words and all the hospitality. Had an absolutely brilliant time shelling and fishing! Between the visit to Merry Peer and then stopping at Sloppy Joes on the return back to Orlando definitly made that my favorite day of the vacation! The sunset was unbelievable at Sloppy Joes and I'm envious that you get to experience that [theoretically] every day! I'll put up a couple pictures of the fun as soon as I get them downloaded from my camera. Thanks again Dave and Kim for reminding me of the type of people I enlisted to protect and defend. (and to everyone on here for that matter)

As far as shipping out goes, I will actually be stationed in Great Lakes, IL from April 17th until September sometime for basic and then a-school. I'm guessing around the end of september I'll deploy somewhere, with a good chance of it being overseas. And thanks to everyone else who responded for the kind words and support for the troops who volunteer to risk their lives for us all on a daily basis.

Anywho, the car needs to still be unpacked. Thanks again everyone for your support!

Change of plans for anyone who's keeping track... I got word on Wednesday that there were some issues with my contract and long story short, rather than leave in April, I'm leaving this Sunday. So I will be in Great Lakes, IL through most of May then as of right now I'll be headin down to Pensacola, FL for Avionics training. If anyone is interested in sending a letter or two to me at bootcamp, Christine (flipflopgirl) will have my address when it becomes available so pm her for that. Thanks again for all your support and best wishes to everyone! Catch you on the flipside...
